Our Story
Our story began unexpectedly in the online world after the pandemic. Through Facebook, a simple friendship slowly blossomed with every exchange of chats, until we eventually became comfortable with one another.
The day of their first meeting at Luneta became a fun and unforgettable memory—especially because Elmer even brought a resume as if he were applying for a job! Although Elmer initially faced rejection because April had no experience in relationships and was known to be very strict when it came to men, this did not stop him from pursuing her wholeheartedly.
With patience, consistency, and sincerity, Elmer continued to win April’s heart. They spent more time together, creating meaningful memories and strengthening their connection. One of the foundations of their growing relationship was their shared faith, as they attended church together every Sunday and prayed for guidance for the love that was slowly unfolding between them.
Over time, their friendship turned into something deeper and more beautiful. Elmer’s unwavering effort and genuine intentions eventually led to a sweet and heartfelt “Yes” from April on April 9, 2023—a moment that marked the beginning of their journey as a couple.
As their love story continued to grow, Elmer planned another unforgettable chapter in their lives. During a special trip to Baguio City, and in celebration of April’s 28th birthday, he gathered the courage to ask the most important question of his life. Surrounded by the cold breeze, scenic views, and the warmth of their love, Elmer got down on one knee and asked April to marry him. With tears of joy and a heart full of love, she said “Yes” once again.
Now, after all the prayers, challenges, laughter, and beautiful moments they have shared together, Elmer and April are joyfully preparing to begin the next chapter of their lives as husband and wife. Their long-awaited wedding is set to take place on September 25, 2026, where they will finally exchange their vows before God, their families, and the people dearest to their hearts.
